FAQ
Can I bring my pet?
While I love animals and have two little fur-babies myself, I find that they can be extremely difficult to control during a portrait session and might eat up a bunch of time. Public locations have leash laws and even well behaved animals tend to dance to the beat of their own drummer or not look at the camera during the perfect ‘cheese’ moment. If you are very passionate about your animal being in the photo, I am happy to abide so long as it is in a private location or the animal has a handler to assist.
How far do I travel?
My regular travel locations are in Chittenden County. For counties surrounding Chittenden I charge an additional $25. For locations further than that please contact me for a specific quote.
Can I use my portrait for work, business, or some other commercial enterprise?
The copyright of the session remains with the photographer and you are given a license for personal use. This covers most private usage for prints, social media, and gifts. It does not allow for contest submissions, business use, or any other activity that can be used to generate gain (income, prizes, trades). A commercial use license can be purchased for each image you wish to use for these purposes. The only personal use authorization related to this license agreement is for your LinkedIn profile picture.
Can I bring props?
Sure! If you play an instrument, a blanket to sit on, a pumpkin to match the fall leaves, or have some other interesting object that you might like to incorporate into your session that is a great idea. Just know that objects may be used minimally and not throughout the whole shoot, but they can certainly add some interest and personal flare!
