My path into photography started during my time in the military as a photojournalist. As I traveled to different training locations, I discovered the magic of storytelling through images. However, it wasn't until I took my first family photo that I truly felt the intoxicating excitement of capturing life's precious moments.

My photography journey began in the Army, where I had the privilege of documenting various training experiences. It was a thrilling introduction to the art of photography. When I transitioned to the Air National Guard, I continued to explore the world through my camera lens, capturing state-of-the-art aircraft as they took flight.

Once I retired from the military, family photography quickly became my passion. I realized that there's a unique kind of magic in interacting with families, drawing out their natural beauty and personality. It's not just about pointing and shooting; it's about creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, engaged, and excited to be a part of the moment.

I believe that the best family photos come to life when there's a genuine connection between the photographer and the subjects. During our sessions, I strive to tease out the true essence of your family, capturing the love, laughter, and unique dynamics that make your story special.
